Still a Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears fan, but becoming a Braves and Falcons fan as well. Lois Price: “Since childhood, I have loved animals including cats, dogs, gerbils and rabbits.” Lois grew up with a dog named “Frisby” who was great and loved on all the cats wandering around the neighborhood. She currently has two beautiful male cats (spoiled rotten) who are now twelve years old. “I believe ‘furry friends’ make a house a home. I will treat all pets with loving care, just like they are my own.”
Jonathan Jones: “I’ve always had a dog, usually multiple dogs.” Today is no different, with Rory (small dog) and Casey (big dog). Jonathan was a client of Pets and Peeps before he decided to help Karen. Like Karen, he was in the corporate world until he retired and took a real job walking and running dogs. Jonathan will train your dog to run distances just like he trained Casey (25 miles/week and trying to go longer); always with your dog’s safety and well-being in mind.
Karen Thompson: Karen semi-retired from a long career in a corporate job designing kitchen and baths. Looking for something fun to do and always having a love for pets, she joined Pets and Peeps – this is a perfect fit! Karen loves all fur-kids and puts their needs on high priority when caring for them; she considers them all “Master teachers” and learns from them every day. She is also a Reiki Master, always sending great energy to your beloved pets and they seem to love it!
Dinah Alexander: After being a dental assistant for 20 years, I decided I wanted to work with animals. I got a job at a veterinarian office and worked there for 7 years, which is also where I started pet sitting. I love what I do especially getting to know all the precious pets!
Sydney Booker: I have always loved animals. As a child, I would feed the squirrels while on a picnic with my family! And I was also constantly trying to bring home stray cats. I have worked in the travel industry for many years, and my favorite trip was to South Africa so I could go on game drives to see the animals in their natural habitat. So I feel very lucky to be able to have a job where I can spend time taking care of dogs, cats, and even rabbits.
